Take action for forests

Thanks for taking an interest in the protection of native forests in Victoria! The Victorian Forest Alliance brings together more than 30 groups actively protecting native forests across Victoria. Collectively, we have decades of experience working with our local communities. Our mission is to protect and restore native forests across the state. The forests we defend and restore are unceded lands.

The name 'Victorian' Forest Alliance has been chosen to geographically locate our broad-based alliance. We acknowledge that the Victorian Forest Alliance operates on the Sovereign Lands of First Nations Peoples.

Ways you can get involved:

1. Read more about what we're trying to protect and why our native forests are so important

2. Send an email to the federal government calling for an end to dodgy agreements which give logging a special exemption from national environment laws

3. We're working hard to make sure forests are protected in the lead up to the upcoming 2022 state election. Read more and sign up to volunteer to help out in your local community!
