Join Friends of Bats and Habitat, Gippsland Environment Group, VFA and FOE Melbourne for a weekend out in Nunniong forests. 

We will be meeting at Bentleys Plain! There is a lovely hut there where we will be camping (please bring all your own gear to camp self-sufficiently). 

Saturday 20th 

- 2:30pm Meet and set up camp at Bentleys Plain 
- 3:30pm Forest history tour with Lisa Roberts 
- 6pm Dinner + camp over
- 7:30pm nocturnal spotlight surveying

Sunday 21st

-10am bush walk in the forest
- Knowledge share of local forest values with Robert Pergl
- 1pm lunch
- 2pm pack up and head home!

Bring appropriate clothing (warm clothes and wet weather gear), enclosed shoes for walking off track, a head torch and enough food and water for two days. 

This community weekend will be taking place on unceded Gunnai Kurnai Country. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.
