Explore the Seymour Bushland Park with BEAM Mitchell Environment Group!
Seymour Bushland Park is a rich place for native plants and wildlife on the edge of Seymour. It was an army camp and training area, but the native vegetation has recovered and the young forest communities support a wide diversity of wildflowers and wildlife including several threatened species.. For more on the Reserve including walking maps, go to the Seymour Bushland Park Guide.
On Sunday 13 October, the Seymour Bushland Park Committee of Management with BEAM Mitchell Environment Group and Council staff will be organising nature walks and lots of family activities exploring the Reserve. The event will begin with morning tea at 10:00am and end with lunch provided by the Committee (bookings are needed).
